Fellow designer <a href=\"http:\/\/knitspot.com\/\">Anne Hanson<\/a> was also traveling to the area, so we headed over to Wendee\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s together.\u00c2\u00a0Wendee had her dye studio set up so that we could dye some of the yarn for the club!<\/p>\n<p>Wendee experimented a lot with different shades of orange, working to find the perfect color just for us.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cookiea.com\/news\/?attachment_id=288\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-288\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-288\" title=\"Orange yarn\" src=\"http:\/\/cookiea.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/March_30_2011-105-318x500.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"318\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"http:\/\/cookiea.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/March_30_2011-105-318x500.jpg 318w, http:\/\/cookiea.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/March_30_2011-105-652x1024.jpg 652w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 318px) 100vw, 318px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Working with Wendee was really interesting. She\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s very methodical and has an efficient dyeing system so that she can rotate various yarns through each part of the process quickly. I dyed two skeins of yarn (one Artisan Sock, one Filigree Lace) in gorgeous shades of brown.
