I designed the socks so that when looking down at your feet, you will catch a glimpse of Icelandic architecture down to your toes. The elegant lines and textures are translated into a twisted rib and wider angled lines.<\/p>\n<p>The pattern contains charted directions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/purchase\/cookie-a-knitwear\/159580\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/images\/shopping\/buy-now.gif\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>\u00c2\u00a0 $6.50<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/solfar-socks\"><strong>Solfar<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"Solfar Socks\" src=\"http:\/\/cookiea.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/DSC_1320-332x500.jpg\" width=\"332\" height=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>S\u00c3\u00b3lfar is named after the iconic sculpture on Reykjavik\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s waterfront designed by J\u00c3\u00b3n Gunnar \u00c3\u0081rnason. S\u00c3\u00b3lfar translates to \u00e2\u20ac\u0153sun voyager\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and is a modern sculpture of a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153dreamboat\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, and ode to Iceland\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s rich history with the sea.
